Purses for Africa

I am joining the pomegranate girls of Rimon Calgary in their efforts to make bags to raise funds for The Grandmothers Campaign of The Stephen Lewis Foundation, to support grandmothers in Africa raising children orphaned by AIDS.

I think the girls are knitting and fulling their bags but, of course, mine will have to be felted.

Spent a great afternoon designing and felting heart bags with my friend Geraldine yesterday.

Here are some photos of the prototypes in process.

Not that I am anybody's grandmother, you understand.  Though technically I could be!

Wow what fantastic bags, I looked everywhere (except here of course) for a felt bag maker last year! Where do you sell them? Would love to know more about what you do, I sometimes get customers who want specially made bags.
